How Nutrition Therapy Can Help

Food is humanity's first pharmacy. We have evolved over the millennia with our surroundings, this includes our food and herbs. However, we've experienced a fundamental shift in the way we live and grow our food over the past 50 years. As a result, our modern lifestyles and processed foods have presented an evolutionary mismatch with our biology, causing the excessive increase in chronic diseases that we hear so much about: heart disease, cancer, diabetes, arthritis, autism spectrum disorders, dementia, Alzheimer's, osteoporosis, autoimmune diseases, and the list goes on.

Many of these disease states have inflammatory processes, nutrient deficiencies, and hormonal imbalances at their core. By correcting those imbalances and deficiencies, using food, targeted supplements and lifestyle edits, we can improve symptoms, halt or slow degenerative processes, and overall, boost energy, enhance mood and well-being.

Individual Nutrition Counseling

An individual consultation is the first step to making lasting changes. During the initial 1 1/2 hour consultation we will review your health history, current dietary patterns and your goals. At the end of this session you will walk away with a customized nutrition and holistic health plan. The Initial Consultation Package includes a second visit where we go through more detailed recommendations based on information provided in the first meeting.
