I have a Masters Degree in Nutrition and Integrative Health (2017) from the Maryland University of Integrative Health. MUIH is the leading academic institution in the United States for Integrative Health. It is an accredited higher institution that unites healing and wellness traditions with modern science-based research.
I am a registered Natural Nutrition Clinical Practitioner (NNCP) and a member in Good Standing with the Canadian Association for Natural Nutritional Practitioners. As a registered NNCP, my nutrition consulting services may be covered by your insurance plan. Currently Manulife, Greenshield and Industrial Alliance cover services by Nutritionists. It's always best to call your insurance ahead of time to make sure, as some may require a referral first.
I am currently working toward my experiential hours as a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS). The CNS designation is the gold standard for advanced nutrition professionals. To qualify as a CNS, prospective candidates must show that they have completed advanced-degree higher education (Masters or higher) and over a 1,000 hours of supervised experience. Having completed my Masters degree and the CNS written exam successfully, I am currently completing my practical hours.
